Riverton

Last night was very blustery, thankfully there is plenty of flex in my carbon frame pole as the tent went from trying to fly to being squashed to the ground for several hours.

This morning was 7 degrees with occasional showers though the wind was down to a sensible strength. Three layers, hat and gloves for the first couple of hours then became very pleasant. The beach is wide and firm and apart from a couple of shoe wetting streams uneventful.

My first day NOBO actually following the TA.
