Rakeahua day 4
Another cracker of a day at Rakeahua, blue skies and no wind. I took the packraft up the river from the hut with the hope that it would turn out to be nicer than the mud slog. Unfortunately there is too much wood and it took ages to work my way up. Got 1/2 way to the bridge in an hour and it takes less than that to walk to the bridge. Nice outing all the same.
Power Bank got charged up and dragged a fair bit of wood back otherwise a nice lazy day.
Off to Doughboy tomorrow. It turns out that the south end of the beach there is 3km further south than I got to on the Tin range yesterday. That will be my southern terminus. Pegasus and South cape will have to wait for a future adventure.
