Dome
What I thought was going to be an easy 2hr walk became a 4hr slow battle over the very up and down ridge between Waiwhiu and Dome. There where few openings in the canopy for views so took this picture toward Warkworth when opportunity presented itself
The kind people at the Dome cafe have a beautiful free area for TA folk to camp with boiling water, bathroom and sheltered kitchen. One downside is SH1 quite close and I assume will be busy all night 🥺
