Well I've just sat another day out. The wind only abated mid avo and is forecast to drop significantly overnight so will hopefully allow me to skip across to Whatipu tomorrow morning. I suspect that coverage/data from the phone will be spotty as I get west of the Waitakeres so will have my InReach on from tomorrow.
