Bluff
I had been feeling despondent about the timing of going south as the weather over the past month has been terrible in Southland. To step off the plane today into a no wind, blue sky, warm day was stunning. My host Jasper invited me to the RSA where he chef's every Friday and the extended daylight hours hit me. Here is a photo as I rode into Bluff at 6pm
In Auckland it is dusk at this time.
It was great to gamble, drink fizzy and laugh with the friendly folk at the RSA. It restores the soul to just be accepted and chatted to.
The ferry to Stewart Island is booked for 4:30pm tomorrow so let the next adventure begin!
